Understanding the Girth or Circumference
The girth or circumference measurement represents the entire width of the fabric when the yukata is laid flat and fully opened. Because the yukata wraps around the body and ties with the included sash, the design can adjust comfortably to accommodate a variety of waist and hip sizes.
Finding Your Ideal Length
To see where the yukata will fall on you, measure with a tape measure from the top of your shoulder down the front of your body to your desired length.
If you prefer a shorter robe, explore our collection of Happi Coats, which are shorter-length versions inspired by traditional kimono and yukata styles.
