Discover the artistry of shodo, the traditional Japanese art of calligraphy, in this distinctive men’s Japanese yukata.
The dramatic black cotton robe features elegant gold and white calligraphy honoring three of the most influential figures in Japanese history: Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the second great unifier of Japan; Oda Nobunaga, the renowned samurai warlord; and Tokugawa Ieyasu, the powerful shogun who established the Tokugawa shogunate.
The combination of bold black cotton and finely detailed gold and white lettering gives this men’s yukata a sophisticated, distinctly Japanese character. Whether you appreciate Japanese history, traditional culture, or the beauty of Japanese calligraphy, this Japanese cotton robe makes a memorable addition to a wardrobe or collection.
This kimono-style robe is made in Japan of 100% cotton and finished to help resist shrinking. A matching belt is included, making it easy to wear as a comfortable traditional-style robe at home, at a ryokan, or for special occasions.
