Inspired by The Great Wave off Kanagawa, this dramatic yukata captures the energy and beauty of the ocean in a richly detailed pattern of swirling waves and powerful currents. The original artwork was created by renowned Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai around 1830, during the late Edo period, as part of his famous series Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji.
Hokusai’s Great Wave has inspired countless interpretations over the years, but the original remains one of the world's most celebrated examples of Japanese woodblock art. Our Great Wave yukata brings that enduring artistic tradition into a wearable design that is both distinctive and timeless.

Medium measures 56” in length and is designed to fit a male 5’ 7" to 6’ in height. The sleeve length is 15”, the shoulder width is 25”, and it accommodates a waist up to 46" and allows for overlap on this wrap-around robe.
Large measures 59" in length and is designed to fit a man 5' 9" to 6' 2" tall. The sleeve length is 15", shoulder width is 30", and the girth is 50".
XL/Wide (+$10.00) measures 59" in length with a wider and roomier fit. This "wide" size feature is designed to fit a man 5' 10" to 6' 3" in height. The sleeve length is 17 3/4", the shoulder width is 29 1/2", and the girth is 58".
2XL (+$10.00) measures 63" in length and comfortably fits 6' to 6' 5" in height. The sleeve length is 16", the shoulder width is 31", and the girth is 56".
2XL/Wide (+$10.00) measures 63" in length and is wider and roomier for a looser fit or "plus-size". Designed to fit a man 6' to 6' 6" in height. The sleeve length is 18", the shoulder width is 31", and the girth is flexible up to 60", which allows for an overlap on this wrap-around robe.
To determine where the length of the yukata will fall on you, measure from the top of your shoulder down the front of your body with a tape measure.
