The dragon and tiger are believed to be symbols of yin and yang in ancient Japanese history.

This Japanese Kimono features a dramatic dragon and tiger pattern that seems to come to life. The black background highlights the vivid colors of the tigers and dragons as they make their bold journey across the kimono's fabric. Tigers symbolize wealth, and courage, while dragons represent wisdom, power, and strength; together these fierce creatures unite in harmony creating an impressive design. The dragon and tiger manage the elemental forces of rain and wind. The pairing of the two is thought to harmonize rain and peace.

This distinctive men's kimono can be worn at home or during ceremonies, parties, and gatherings where you want people to take notice. Expertly crafted in Japan by master clothiers of 100% brushed cotton. The fabric goes through a lengthy dyeing process to produce the gold, black, gray, red, and white color palette. This robe is machine washable for easy care. We recommend cold water for the best results and to extend the life of the fabric.

This kimono is available in size: Large.

Large, measures 59" in length and is designed to fit a man, 5' 10" to 6' 3" in height. The sleeve length measures 16", the shoulder width is 27" and the waist adjusts up to 48" as a wrap around robe.

Our Premium Collection is made in Japan with high quality fabrics and prints. The artistic patterns are inspired by traditional Japanese designs.

This pattern is also available in a Happi Coat. Happi Coats are short-length kimonos.

This will make our anniversary 07/24/2026
By C.S.
I bought this kimono for my husband when we were first married over 30 years ago. I'm so glad to finally have found it again. The original is worn out, but he can't part with it! This will make our anniversary, so thank you!
